PUBLIC CONCERN HELD AT FOLKS' PLACE, NATIONAL THEATRE, ACCRA
First of all I must say - I appreciate the opportunity to be on the programme. But also it is important for all of us to note that the economy is the most serious and the most important topic that we have in Ghana today. Nothing else compares to it. Not politics, not sports, nothing else and so for me politics doesn't rate in this one.

THE CPP FLAGBEARER AT TOWN HALL MEETINGS WITH GHANAIANS IN CALIFORNIA
The Flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) has met a cross section of Ghanaians in the USA at three town hall meetings in California. The Nduom for President 08 Campaign considers these Town Hall meetings to be quite important because Ghanaians Abroad are special stakeholders. The contributions they make to the Ghanaian economy through the cash and the skills they transfer back home have been widely acknowledged.

The National Prayer Breakfast of the United States of America
On Wednesday, February 4th, I arrived at the Washington Dulles Airport, took a taxi and went straight to register for the three-day National Prayer Breakfast (NPB) Program for 2009. The main agenda was faith strengthening but an important attraction was the opportunity to be in the same room with the 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Obama and listen to his own testimony about his faith and what the NPB meant for inter-political party relationships.

A CRISIS OF CONFIDENCE IN GHANA – REAL OR IMAGINED? WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT IT?
The time for partisan politics was in 2008. In the Fourth Republic, we have had the opportunity to behave as if managing the economy is like playing in the Premier Football League, keeping score and just collecting points to determine which team wins the trophy. The trophy has been about who wins power. Unfortunately, so far, getting power has not been about who delivers prosperity to the masses of Ghanaians. During the 2008 elections, the score keeping was more about who had been more corrupt, more vindictive and had left more problems in the Fourth Republic.

STIMULUS PACKAGE FOR GHANA 2
When I offered a “Stimulus Package for the Ghanaian Economy” on April 1, 2009, it was my hope that it would be considered as a suggestion to be discussed, debated and improved so that we can shift our attention in Ghana to the economy and away from the kind of politics that continues to divide us. I have been gratified for the most part about the comments made by a number of politicians, business people and economists. I have taken their critiques in good faith. I am looking forward to engaging in further exchanges with leaders from different areas of our society with the hope that we can offer our country a way forward that many of us can support and promote.

A Stimulus Package for Ghana: By Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Media:

Thank you for accepting my invitation to attend this press conference to share ideas on a stimulus package for the Ghanaian economy. Leaders throughout the world particularly the ones from the developed countries seem to be of one mind about the current global financial crisis – this is not the time to sit and do nothing. The Group of 20 (G20) countries who control the majority of the wealth in the world will meet in the United Kingdom this week to discuss solutions to the crisis. This is the time to act and do something to change the course of the nation. The global crisis is here with us in Ghana.

DR. NDUOM CHARMS THE CHIEF AND THE PEOPLE OF KARAGA!
The Karaga Na was all praises for Dr. Nduom during the visit of the Presidential
Candidate of the CPP to Karaga. This was in sharp contrast to the tense atmosphere in
the town before the CPP campaign train rolled into the town. When the CPP arrived,

THE COORDINATED PROGRAMME FOR THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF GHANA (2003-2012)
The shared vision of all Ghanaians is to continuously create wealth to improve the worth and welfare of our people and to reduce poverty. We, together, seek to build a society of free and disciplined individuals with a passion for excellence. Our long-term goal is to develop a society that is capable of achieving middle-income status. A significant milestone along the way to becoming a middle income country is attaining a per capita income of $1000. The first benchmark will be to double our current national income within a decade.
